INCREASING EFFICIENCIES

For this Fortune 100 Company, the SiTESPAN team provided owner’s representation in the form of risk mitigation and construction management from preconstruction through primary installations.

The project included design-build of a new uninterruptible power supply (UPS) plant, associated battery system, and electrical distribution to critical areas throughout an existing critical operations facility that cannot tolerate outages and disruptions. New cooling systems that feed the new UPS and battery rooms were installed and the existing wet pipe fire sprinkler systems were updated to protect systems in the rooms. After critical load was cutover to the new systems, the obsolete UPS plant, battery and cooling systems were removed. The project also included a small amount of architectural and structural work.
