Experience

US Bank

When DataBank initiated its ground-up expansion of the MCI3 facility, they faced complex challenges from day one. The new 6 MW data center had to be constructed adjacent to a live facility with an active generator yard and its cable bus system delivering mission-critical power throughout the campus.

Nationwide Mission-Critical Portfolio Support

For over a decade, SiTESPAN has served as a key partner to U.S. Bank—delivering more than 110 infrastructure upgrades, system replacements, and assessments
across the bank’s mission-critical portfolio. The work spans the nation, but the objective is always the same: zero disruption, zero margin for error.

Among the most complex projects was the full replacement of a multi-module UPS system and associated switchgear at one of U.S. Bank’s flagship data centers. The project involved implementing the new UPS system and downstream distribution in parallel with live infrastructure, then cutting over IT circuits one by one— with no interruption to the business critical environment.

Over 120 days, SiTESPAN executed the full replacement under tight phasing and unforgiving deadlines. There were no errors, no service interruptions, and no deviations from budget or schedule.

This success was no accident. SiTESPAN’s team brought real-world facility management and systems engineering experience to the table, which allowed them to anticipate problems, design for risk, and communicate transparently with U.S.
Bank’s internal stakeholders. Every task was grounded in field-tested logic and accountability.

Today, SiTESPAN remains an ongoing infrastructure advisor to U.S. Bank—helping shape future capital investments, improve system redundancy, and ensure the reliability of critical facilities that support millions of customers every day.
