The SiTESPAN team, in partnership with CAC Architects, Michaud Cooley Erickson, and Thornton Tomasetti, provided the design for a new, state-of-the-art data center in San Francisco, CA. Together, the team completed the basis of design documentation through permit documentation. Design work included architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical with emphasis on the mission critical infrastructure.
The goal of the project was to create a high capacity, scalable data center that would provide bespoke turn-key solutions for any size business. The project design included three buildings, totalling 242,941 SF of space, located on a 6.62 acre site. The campus was designed to feature 14.7 MW of IT capacity, and 136,000 square feet of data center built over four phases.
